Shahid Kapoor Gossips: Lover Boy Shahid Kapoor is an actor who has proved many a times that he too is a chip of the old block. That is, he is a true son to his very talented actor dad, Pankaj Kapoor.Like his dad who has been a theatre actor and a versatile TV cum film actor, Shahid has excelled in all his films.
Even though Shahid has had his innings in cinema, as a young brat, in films like ‘Ishq Vishq’, ‘Dil Mange More’, he gradually changed his genre of characterization to a different genre like ‘Fida’, ‘Vivaah; ‘Jab We Met’, etc, where he portrayed a somewhat serious character.
Then, came a series of his films which gave him the image of a dancing star , with films like ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, ‘Chance Pe Dance’, ‘Paathshala’, Kamineey’,etc he somehow lived up to that expectations.
Now, with ‘Badmaash Company’, he has managed to portray the character of a brat, who is desperate to get rich via the fast lane, this too has created a furrore in film circles, and amongst film buffs.
Now, however, with his dad’s film ‘Mausam’, he has been cast in a more serious role, with a gentleman feel to his character. Reportedly, his dad wants to see his son playing more matured roles, to change his image. Thus, he is playing the role of an Air Force officer. Let’s hope he creates a big hit with this film too!
