Vivek Oberoi have no time for his honeymoon!: More than two months have passed since Vivek Oberoi got married to Priyanka Alva, but the couple aren’t able to set off for a proper honeymoon yet.

First, Vivek got busy in the promotion of Rakta Charitra and postponed his honeymoon to mid-November. Though he did whisk Priyanka off to Aamby Valley for a few days, the couple mostly stayed put in the house in Mumbai gifted them by Vivek’s parents.

Then came the New Year’s eve and Vivek was again busy in preparing for his performance at the Country Club bash in Dubai. Again, he squeezed out time to take Priyanka out for a romantic candle-light dinner at the elite restaurant Le Petit Maison. The couple had more outings on the 1st and 2nd Jan in Dubai. They were then supposed to fly off for a long honeymoon at Red Sea in the Arabian Peninsula.

But the trip was cancelled because Vivek accepted the invitation to the opening exhibition tennis match at Chennai Open. Once again the honeymoon was interrupted.

We hear that Vivek has promised his incredibly patient and understanding wife that he will make up for the missed honeymoon by taking her to exotic places throughout the year.

At the time of his marriage, he had said he would like to honeymoon at a place where he can fly planes and his wife can do deep-sea diving.

Vivek Oberoi ready for honeymoon with his wife

Vivek Oberoi ready for honeymoon with his wife: Mixing work with honeymoon! That’s what Vivek Oberoi will be doing as he rings in 2011.

It’s been more than a month since Vivek married Bangalore’s Priyanka Alva. However, unlike other newly-weds, the duo did not vamoose off for a honeymoon. Rather, Vivek kept being busy with professional commitments and the promotion of Rakht Charitra - 2.

Now that the film has released Vivek is finally set to spend days and weeks with his wife alone. But work still doesn’t seem to leave him.

The actor is set to perform on Dec 31 for the Country Club New Year bash in Dubai. And accompanying him would be his wife Priyanka.

After the New Year eve the couple would then head for their honeymoon. We hear their destination would be Red Sea in the Arabian peninsula right between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Priyanka Alva is a daughter of famous social worker Nandini Alwa and Former Minister and Janta Dal Leader Jeevraj Alwa.

Vivek Oberoi finally decides to change his single status with his engagement to Priyanka in first week of September. Priyanka completed her Business Management Graduate from London, Britain. Priyanka lives in the same region from where Aishwarya belongs.

She is also a well known dancer who has deep interest in protecting ecology and animals. It is expected that the marriage will be arranged on 29th October, 2010. Vivek Oberoi was a boyfriend of former Miss World, Aishwarya Rai and after Aishwarya he was engaged with model Gurpreet in the year 2002 but due to some reason both were separated. Vivek was also connected with many of his co-stars like Neeru Bajwa, Vidya Balan, Jacqueline Fernandez and so on.

Both the couple was met with the help of Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer Padmini Ravi who is a close friend and relative of Nandini. Both of them are the trustees of Artistes Foundation for Arts where currently Priyanka is working, as well as the co-founders of Bengaluru’s yearly festival of art and culture, the Bengaluru Habba. Priyanka also helps her mother to arrange cultural festivals and launch of their salons, M&W at The Leela and Taj Westend as well as many orphanages. We can say that Nandini played the role of matchmaker. However, Padmini said, “It wouldn’t be fair on my part to comment on this.”

Sources say that the bride-to-be’s “level-headed and intelligent.” “She’s non-filmi, sociable and sweet-natured,” they say. Vivek had earlier said in an interview that he wouldn’t mind marrying a girl of his parents’ choice. “I am sure the match my parents pick will turn out to be the girl of my dreams,” he had said.

Priyanka’s friends are overjoyed. “I am very happy for her, but would not like to say anything more. This is something special and a personal matter between her family and close friends,” says Namrata Sudhindra. The news of Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka’s engagement was not exposed among all friends, family member however they are complaining. “I am very happy for her,” says family friend Meghna Vakada. “Priyanka is a very warm person. I’m sure she is thrilled. I wish her well,” she adds.

Nandini says, “This marriage has come as a blessing from all our well-wishers and friends. Though this is an arranged marriage, my daughter is very happy”. She also added, “This is a very special occasion and we as a family are rejoicing”. “Vivek and Priyanka share a great passion for social work. That is their best connect,” says mother Nandini, adding, “Priyanka completed her education in New York, where her subjects dealt with non-profit organizations and social work. She is very pleased with the fact that Vivek also shares the same passion, having contributed and worked towards aiding several social issues.”

Bipasha Basu Topless Hot Masala News: A topless Bipasha Basu, the dusky, husky, bong babe of bollywood, has been doing the rounds of internet with tinsel town actor Vivek Oberoi.

Sources reveal that this topless image was the result of a commercial that bong babe had shot in way back 1999 for a New York based company,  New York Lotto commercial. It was directed by Ken Nahoum and shot in India itself, but was meant for only international markets.

The advertisement had art direction from illustrator Tommy Kane and was shot very aesthetically. But the sudden appearance of the particular commercial on the net has certainly taken one and all by surprise.

In any case, Bipasha Basu has been in a steady relationship with John Abraham for almost eight years now and so its not going to affect her adversely in any way. In fact, Bipasha’s manager even brushed aside the whole issue by saying that it was a long time back and that he failed to understand why was it being   picked up and hyped at this point of time.

But, Vivek Oberoi’s man Friday played it safe by denying that he knew anything about such matter at all.

Bollywood News: It was disheartening as the watery eyes watched in horror the tragic news of the airplane crash in Mangalore at the daybreak of the ill-fated 22nd May.

As lives are lost and hands folded, it’s heartening to find the entire country uniting in these days of catastrophe and despair. Bollywood stars marched forward and voiced their homage to the late victims who breathed their last in those final moments as death danced wild over their heads.
Heading to twitter, former Miss World Priyanka Chopra sighed, “Please pray for the families that have lost the ones they love in this horrific crash. We can’t even begin to imagine their pain and sorrow. Also pray for the souls of those who have been cruelly taken away from their families in such a tragic situation. R.I.P. (rest in peace).”

Actress Deepika Padukone expressed her dismay, “Just heard about the plane crash in Mangalore…shocking! very sad.”

Amitabh Bachchan questions God’s deeds as he laments, Amitabh Bachchan: “Feeling terrible. Plane crash! Air India flight from Dubai to Mangalore crashed on landing, overshot runway…so sad…so sad. I wrote about excess and balance on my blog last night.. Is the plane tragedy God’s way of balancing …? Sad and disturbed.”

Vivek has stopped apologizing, but his Salman phobia is still intact

Bollywood3000 News: Vivek might showcase himself as the ubercool dude in real life, and as well on silver screen, but when it comes to confront Salman Khan, he still chickens out.Recently he was performing in an award function.

Salman was also supposed to rock the stage at the same venue. But both of them were unaware of each others’ presence. Suddenly he saw Salman a few feet away, standing and chatting with his friends.

Sallu was completely unaware of his surrounding, but his presence gave Vivek cold feet. It has been reported that, Vivek got so concerned with Salman’s presence that he locked himself in his vanity van for hours.
Well we all are aware of their enmity. Vivek, fondly crowned with the name by media as the ‘man with verbal diarrhea’, stunned the country with his infamous press conference. Since then he was seen publicly apologizing to Salman for his foolishness. But Salman is still angry with him and he rejects vivek’s ‘mercy plea’ every single time by calling him an idiot. Though Vivek has stopped apologizing, but his Salman phobia is still intact.

On that memorable evening, vivek’s friends gave him the information of Salman’s presence. Since that moment he locked himself inside in his van for almost 75 minutes. Notably, Salman was next to go on stage. So he waited for him to go for his performance with baited breath. When Salman went on the stage, his friends came and gave him the green signal, and then he left from the venue.

Notably, he was supposed to join his friends for a party, but he wasted more than an hour in his van, hiding his face from Sallu Bhai.

Moreover, last year in Ramesh Taurani’s party a similar thing happened. Both Vivek and Salman were supposed to attend the party. When Vivek got the whiff of it, he literally fled away, by taking the control of his car from his driver.

But his manager Raj sings a totally different song. “Vivek left in time. He had to attend a get-together. After him, Lara and Shahid performed. Then came Salman. So there was no question of confrontation.” He said.

Well, Managers are meant for making such diplomatic (read false) comments!

After a hurried link-up and break up, there was no film with the both of them together ever.

Reportedly, this film shall see them in the same frame-but here’s the catch –they are not paired opposite each other. Actually the lead pair will be hubby Abhishek and wifey Aishwarya .Vivek will be another character in the film.

From June onwards! Vivek, who had been in oblivion for a long time, is now again resurfacing with his latest flick ‘Prince’, which is made in three languages. Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
