Missing in Action !!!

Pamela Anderson, Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, Hillary Duff, Marisa Tomei, Anne Hathaway !!!

What has happened to the lot of you? You had shown yourselves to be the leaders of the Hollywood toe cleavage movement, and had been the founding ladies from which this site evolved. But you've all been missing in action lately. Either not showing up in public at all, or showing up wearing something other than the wonderful footwear that made you so famous here.

Between you six, you've accounted for 92 blog posts here. But there hasn't been one post of any of you since June 1 of this year. That's over 3 months!!! Up until that time, you all had on average been a part of nearly every 5th post. Now we've gone over 75 consecutive posts without seeing hide nor hair (nor shoe) of any of you. C'mon girls, you can do better than that!

Won't get fooled again....

Folks , I do apologize for not providing the necessary quality control in a few recent posts. I was fooled by some folks who clearly pulled a fast one on me, and I (unknowingly) ended up posting some photos of legs belonging to the wrong gender.

It won't happen again, even if it means posting nothing but celebrity photos indefinitely. I've worked too hard to establish a very good quality site here, and will not risk compromising that quality again.

To those who bemused themselves by posting snarky comments, rather than earnestly trying to alert me to this situation... I am not amused.

And to those who abused my trust and misrepresented the subjects of these photos, - you know who you are... do not ever contact me again.

Follow up to my rant

Thanks all for the comments so far. It looks like most of you agree with my sentiments, though a couple are holdouts on the french pedi thing. Be assured Shaq91 that I will never, ever find that look sexy. On even the most attractive ladies in the world. It's not a matter of being "fashion forward". Fashion does not define what is and is not "sexy." And it never will. It's a matter of what makes my heart race versus making me wince and spit. Hell, I've dumped girlfriends in the past just because they painted their toenails at all. I'm not kidding. I guess that's why I want to see pumps, and why I like toe cleavage... there's no toenail to be seen at all. All the grace and natural beauty of the female foot, without the potential of seeing something I find fairly nasty in most cases.

But just so folks don't think I'm completely closed-minded, there are some females who do seem to have the perfectly maintained toes/nails that I don't mind seeing at all. If every woman's feet looked like these, I wouldn't have a problem with sandals and open-toed shoes. One woman who just always seems to have the perfect look is Ali Larter. See pics of her here, here and here. No paint, no gimmicks, no "fashion forward" crap. Just plain old beautiful feet. Honestly, why can't every woman do this?

A quick rant...

As I recently noted, I try hard to show as much of a variety as I can here on this site. It means mixing up close up shots with lots of celebrity shots. And I try to show as many different female celebrities as possible. It just dawned on me that there are likely to be some female celebs that you never see on here - just because they seem to never wear anything but sandaled footwear. And that's disappointing. Here's a quick list of some gals who seem to never wear pumps... Gillian Anderson, Jessica Simpson, Daisy Fuentes, Julie Benz, Carmen Electra, Angie Harmon, Carrie Underwood, Jaime Pressly, Eva Mendes, and Cindy Margolis , just to name a few.
