Priyanka Chopra: Dazzling and sensationally beautiful girl?

Bollywood is not a name that requires any introduction and neither does Priyanka Chopra. She is a dazzling and sensationally beautiful girl with a radiant, million dollar smile that fetched her the Miss World crown in 2000.

In fact, even the South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs is smitten by her and has described her as ‘Beauty personified.’ But despite being a mesmeriser, the sultry, saucy gal is also a brilliant actress and her celluloid journey has seen her getting better and better with each passing film.

“It has always been a conscious effort throughout my career to be versatile. I am fortunate enough to be enjoying films like Siddharth Anand`s `Anjaana Anjaani` with Ranbir Kapoor on one hand and Vishalji`s (Bhardwaj) next on another. Thankfully, it`s all working out quite well,” a chirpy Piggy Chops quips.

And her incredible manifestation of her acting mettle brought her rave reviews for a host of films including the much acclaimed ‘Fashion’ that earned her the National Award for Best Actress. However, she emphasizes that she doesn’t work for awards but if it comes her way, she will be delighted as it’s only the confirmation of the fact that her work has been recognized.

“I tend to lose objectivity around my work. I don`t do films hoping that it would fetch me awards. Yes, it is indeed an amazing feeling when you get it but as an individual I have never been too sure or formed an opinion about my work,” she asserts.

With so many biggies in her kitty (including ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ and ‘Anjaana Anjaani’) and so many on her CV, one feels that she is certainly the top contender for the most complete actress.

Amongst all the actresses who came to bollywood via the Miss World and Miss Universe titles, four of them, that is Aishwarya, Sushmita ,Priyanka and Lara are the most talked about in the top list of actresses these days. Well, to see all of them reaching great heights is indeed a proud page in the history of bollywood celebrities.
