Hrithik Roshan News: Bollywood Super Hit Hero Hrithik Roshan is certainly the biggest thing happened in Bollywood in the last decade.
Everyone knows how much hardworking he is, and he has the ability to carry any movie on his shoulders…that too singlehandedly. But now, the most handsome HERO (literally!) is thinking of quitting his acting career. And the reason behind this unfortunate thought is the recent injuries he has suffered.
He suffered a few injuries in his knee while he was shooting for Krrish. Since then he is in tremendous pain.
‘I worked on ‘Kites’ only for seven months. Before that I was trying to treat my knee. For six months there was no sign of recovering from my knee pain. That time I thought either I will turn to singing or direct a film,’ revealed the superstar.
Though he has undergone surgery, and he is in a better condition now. But he says that he can’t think about acting without being able to dance (nor do we!), and his knee was hurting like hell.
‘I knew if I want to be an actor then I would be an actor and never compromise on my work. If I couldn’t dance, if I couldn’t jump, then I didn’t want to be an actor. I was going through all those thoughts at that time,’ he added.
For the last few years he has done only action movies, and the ligament injury suffered in Krrish got worse due to the high octane action scenes in Dhoom 2. After that he did Jodha Akbar and said no to all the new offers, ’cause he went to Singapore for treatment for 6 weeks. But Kites was totally a different ball game, and he couldn’t resist the temptation to do this movie after hearing the narration from Anurag Basu.
‘When I heard ‘Kites’ from Anurag Basu, I could imagine the scenes and could see my face in the character. His vision was so strong that it passed on to me. I was seeing myself doing all those things and at that time I said to myself that if I can see it in my head then it will manifest, somehow. I jumped up after that and said – ‘This is what I was looking for and I will do this film’,’ he said.
