We have had many games shows, reality shows, singing and dancing competitions on TV but nothing like the Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi-an adrenalin rushing game with measurable amount of humor, thrills and drama. And yes, the tears were real!
Kudos to Akshay Kumar for being a cool host and not hogging the limelight as other stars are doing, going on a self popularizing spree about their hosting prowess. The bevy of 13 beautiful women who participated in Khatron Khiladi: Aditi Gowatrikar, Tupur Chaterjee, Tapur Chaterjee, Pooja Bedi, Yana Gupta, Sonali Kulkarni, Meghna Naidu, Nethra Raghuraman, Urvashi Sharma, Anita Hassnandani, Anjana Sukhani and Vidya Malavde.
Let us go through each of them to find how they performed:
1. Vidya Malavde: Vidya Malavde, the poorest performer in Khatron Ke Khiladi, was a complete contrast to her role of a “never say die” goal keeper of Chak De India. She complained many times about her inability to do this and that, and was finally ousted from the show. Vidya was eliminated in episode 4 but was not invited in episode8 when others who disqualified were reinstated.
2. Sonali Kulkarni: Sonali Kulkarni was the first to be eliminated, but was reinstated in episode 8. Though she was eliminated later, she lightened up the atmosphere with her dares and chirpy laughter
3. Anita Hasannandani: Anita Hassanandani was eliminated in the treasure hunt episode. Though she would be scared with most of the attempts, she made a sincere attempt to fight her fears
4. Dippanita Sharma: Dippanita Sharma backed out of a stunt and was eliminated. To top it, she even blamed her fellow officer. Definitely, not cool!
5. Tupur Chatterjee and Tapur Chatterjee: Both sisters were eliminated because they complained about vertigo problems
6. Meghna Naidu: one of the boldest babes, Meghna Naidu had an unfortunate exit because she injured herself in a cycle stunt. Poor Sonali Kulkarni was faced with a crucial decision to remove one among Pooja Bedi, Yana Gupta and Meghna Naidu. She chose the last one.
7. Anjana Sukhani was eliminated in the Zinda Ya Murda stunt.
8. Yana Gupta: Yana Gupta, the coolest person was amazing with all her stunts and looked like she would win the Fear Factor competition. However Yana Gupta lost out on the jet skying stunt, due to bad listening skills. Or was it Akshay’s fault?
9. Pooja Bedi: Pooja Bedi won everyone’s hearts with her dedication and her ability to take initiatives. Though she lost being on the final, courtesy today’s episode ‘Roll Baby Roll” she was a happy semi-finalist
10. Aditi Gowatriker: Aditi Gowatrikar has made it to the finals of the Khatron Ke Khiladi. Watch this space for more.
11. Urvashi Sharma: Urvashi Sharma is the naughtiest and cutest of the girls around. With a child like enthusiasm, amidst tears and laughter, she has ended up doing most of the stunts with ease. Bravo gal! Watch this space for more.
12. Nethra Raghuraman: Nethra Raghuraman with her athletic body and a rock steady attitude has given her 100 percent in all her stunts and it is no surprise that it is one of the favorite to win the Khatron Ke Khiladi-Mahapariksha
