Aamir Khan now finally on Twitter!

Aamir Khan on Twitter News: Finally, Aamir Khan has kept his word to Amitabh Bachchan about joining Twitter.

The actor has joined the micro-blogging site under the name aamir_khan. His first tweet on July 1 was a poetic couplet for Big B.

“Bhala gardish falak ki chain deti hai kise Insha, ganimat hai ke hum surat yahan do-chaar baithey hain. Esp for you sir. Love.” Aamir tweeted on the morning of July 1.

Within hours of him joining the site, Aamir got more than 46,000 followers and they are still increasing every hour.

Aamir obviously was touched by the warm welcome by his fans on Twitter.

“Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Love. Aamir,” he responded.

So far Aamir is following only one person on Twitter. Not hard to guess, it’s Amitabh Bachchan.

Minissha Lamba: An arrest warrant may have been out on her name!

Minissha Lamba Arrest Warrant News: Minissha Lamba had to take time out from her schedule to attend a court hearing; otherwise an arrest warrant may have been out on her name. The court hearings are not to be taken lightly and Minissha had already missed the previous summon by the court.

As per reports, Minissha attended a court hearing at an Andheri court on Wednesday afternoon. She has a pending case against a man named Meraj Rehman who is charged for sending obscene messages to her in November last year. Meraj has also sent vulgar smses to Sambhavna Seth and Maanyata Dutt in the past.

According to a source, there was no way she could have missed the hearing this time. “Her lawyer informed her that if she missed it, there would be an arrest warrant issued on her name,” tells the source.

. Why take chances? Till now, the star was shooting indoors at Taj Colombo and his safety wasn’t a big issue, but starting next week Salman is supposed to shoot in the natural setting.

Ajay Kapoor of T-Series confirms the news to a tabloid and says, “Yes we have upgraded his security.

There was no point in taking chances… He’s like family, so there was no issue in getting him the proper security.”

Well, it was Salman’s own wish to shoot Ready in Sri Lanka; unperturbed by the protests back home, he even convinced director Anees Bazmee to shift the shooting location from Mauritius to Sri Lanka.

Ready is a Hindi remake of a Telugu hit with the same name.

What also makes the film a candidate for definite success is the price at which it has been sold. An economical film, especially after the high price tag that Karan’s earlier films like ‘My Name Is Khan’ and ‘Kurbaan’ came with, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ is what is known in industry parlance as, a safe film.

This Punit Malhotra film has to be extremely terrible (which one believes is not the case) to find rejection from the audience. In fact one never knows, if the film will stick with the audience, it could well be ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa’ revisited for Imran especially since it is also the solo release of the week.
