The current buzz in B-Town revolves around the younger Kapoor lass Kareena Kapoor who has put on a lot of weight lately which has worried beau Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena’s size zero frame had created quite a stir in the tinsel world last year, and reportedly she decided to put on weight after fans asked her to. But the ‘Chotte nawab’ likes his ‘Begum’ to be slim.
But Kareena’s fitness trainer, Payal Gidwani says, “I don’t think Kareena has gained weight. She fluctuates between 53 and 54 kilos which is perfect for her height. She is extremely fit and still does Yoga for an hour everyday.”
“Bebo is looking her best these days. I think she looks awesome no matter what she wears, whether it is salwar kameezes or Western dresses or sarees. She was a sight to behold in 3 Idiots, especially in the orange sari. She is perfect the way she is,” she added.
Saifreena’s debut stage performance
The bollywood’s buzzing couple who are very candid about their relationship performed together for the first time at an award ceremony held at the Chitrakoot Grounds in Andheri, Mumbai.
After the performance on the numbers of Saif Ali Khan’s debut home production, ‘Love Aaj Kal’, Saifu was heard saying to Kareena, “I think you need to lose some weight, yaar.”
And Kareena who is happy to have gained some weight after her almost diminishing weight act last year, took it quite supportively.
The engagement rumor
It is being rumored that Kareena and Saif Ali khan have got engaged secretly. The rumors surfaced after Kareena was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger at the Max Stardust awards in Mumbai on Sunday.
But when asked, Kareena neither denied nor accepted the rumor. All she said was that she would talk about it, when the right time came.
Families of both have expressed their desire of seeing the two get married soon but both have been avoiding the subject till now as they want to concentrate on their career at the moment.
Sharmila Tagore Pataudi, Saif’s mom who is in Jodhpur to attend a meeting of the Censor Board of Film Certification says, “I don’t have any objection to their marriage and they will soon wed.”
Kareena and Saif win at the Stardust Awards
Kareena Kapoor bagged top honors at the Max Stardust Annual Awards 2010 by becoming the ‘Star of the Year’ in the female category for her role in ‘Kurbaan’ and ‘3Idiots’.
Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Love Aaj Kal’ won the award for the ‘Hottest Film of the Year’.
