Vidya Balan got herself into trouble when she was spotted wearing similar saree to that of Ash’s at the premier of her new movie ‘Paa’. But we can hope that the actress would have learnt to deal with such situations as this was not the first time when her outfit has hit the news.But this time former beauty queen Priyanka Chopra was noticed wearing a dress to a swish party held on Friday, which Amrita Rao had worn on national television ten days ago.
And interestingly, she received many compliments for her outfit but didn’t have the slightest idea that the dress had been worn by Amrita even. Moreover, fashion designer Swapnil Shinde had provided the outfits to both the actresses.
Swapnil confirmed the news saying, “Woh Priyanka wala outfit mera diya hua tha. She was very happy with it. Her stylist called me up from the party and said that Priyanka was getting a lot of compliments for that outfit.”
When asked about Amrita wearing the same outfit, Swapnil says, “I didn’t even consider whether it will work for Priyanka since Amrita has worn it on a television show. Television shows and events are two different ball games.”
But the designer bluntly denied that both the actresses were wearing the same outfit. Instead he claims, “I have three four dresses of that same design.”
Though Priyanka was not available for the comment Amrita says, “Well, I guess Priyanka wasn’t aware I had worn the very same outfit on the show. Or probably she really liked the outfit so much that it didn’t bother her much whether it was exclusive or not.
