So, the answer is Awards…. Katrina has been nominated for the 2010 Filmfare Award, the most reputed award of the Indian Film Industry and is pretty thrilled for her nomination. But, at the same time, she’s not too enthusiastic or keyed up about the actual result as she is certain that she’s not going to win. She, in a press interview, said that her name getting nominated was most she can ask for coz she’s a tad unlucky with the awards.
As the discussion gained momentum, she wittingly said that Salman Khan (her boyfriend) is her inspiration as he keeps telling her how to survive in this cut-throat industry without winning a single Best Actor Award.
Need we remind you that megastar Salman Khan is ruling this showbiz world for more than 20 years but has not even once bagged the ‘Best Actor’ Trophy. This is a bit surprising as his arch rivals Shahrukh and Aamir who nearly debuted at the same period and share the same age have pocketed lots of awards in their kitties.
But, despite awards staying elusive, Salman’s stardom has stayed intact and Katrina, too, can take a leaf from his book. But, hopefully, one day they both will get a big award.
