Prabhu Deva to plan divorce with his wife: Finally, after much legal wrangling, and washing of private dirty linen in public, actor Prabhu Deva and his wife of 15 years, Ramlath (Latha), have agreed to a divorce settlement.

According to the settlement, Prabhu Deva will give Rs. 10 lakh as alimony to Latha. She will retain the custody of their two children; she will get two flats in Ranga Reddy District in Andhra Pradesh and will also keep the Anna Nagar house. Prabhu will also give her two cars - Toyota Innova and Mahindra Logan.

In return, Latha has consented to forgo her conjugal right over Prabhu Deva. She will also allow Deva access to the children as and when he wishes.

The couple signed the joint affidavit and submitted in the additional family court in Chennai on Tuesday, thus paving the way for their divorce which will still take months to come through.

Prabhu and Latha fell out last year when there were rumours about him dating actress Nayanthara. In response, Latha took the legal recourse for the restoration of her conjugal rights and demanded that Prabhu be prevented from seeing Nayanthara.

Urumi Movie Gallery Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva and Tabu

Santosh Sivan's tri-lingual period drama in Malayalam, Tamil & English Urumi  is one of the biggest projects on floors. Prithviraj along with Santosh Sivan is producing the film under the banner of 'August Cinema'.

Prabhu Deva, Prithviraj and Nitya Menon star as the lead in this film, which has music by Deepak Dev. The English version is likely to have the title- The Boy who wanted to kill Vasco da Gama.

Urumi is the 8-ft long flexible sword that has been used in Kalari fights for a long time. Sankar Ramakrishnan, who had directed the promising short film Island Express in the Kerala Cafe anthology, has written the script.

The film, a bilingual, is set in the 15th century and will be made for the international audiences. The shoot of Urumi is progressing at Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra.

The sensational Tabu along with Vidya Balan is also a part of the film. Anjali Shukla who became the first women cinematographer to win the National Award recently for her camera work in Shaji Karun's Kutty Sranku is the cinematographer for the film.
