Shahid Kapoor to drive at Priyanka Chopra's home: Now what is this if not love? When Shahid Kapoor came to know of good friend Priyanka Chopra’s ill health on Saturday, he left everything aside to drive her back home.

What took everyone by surprise was that the same day Shahid arrived in Mumbai from Chandigarh, where he was shooting for his father’s film Mausam. When he came to know about PC’s poor health he went straight from the airport to the studio where she was shooting.

As per sources, Priyanka had a hectic day; she was busy promoting 7 Khoon Maaf and also had to join the Don 2 cast and crew for the shooting of the film. Shahrukh Khan was waiting for her on the sets. But in the meantime she ate something that upset her stomach, a probable case of food poisoning.

Learning this, Shahid came to the studio and waited for Priyanka until she finished her shoot to accompany her back home. “After the shoot completed for the day, the couple left together in Shahid’s car,” the source is quoted as saying.

Sabir Khan, who was supposed to direct Heer Ranjha is still working with Nadiadwala but on a different film, which will most probabbly have Shahid playing the lead but Deepika is not a part of this.

Rumour has it that Deepika was not too keen on acting in Heer Ranjha. Shall we assume she is not as friendly with Shahid as she was a few months ago?

A friend of Nadiadwala’s stood up for him and said, “Deepika was never in the project. Sajid is still doing Sabir’s film; he is reworking its script.”

In that case, why did Sabir tell a section of the media about Deepika being paired with Shahid in his film? Reportedly, Sabir had said, “I don’t think it really makes a difference if the leading lady is taller than the hero... any heroine, no matter how tall she is, is keen to work with Aamir Khan. Dippy (as Deepika is fondly called) has agreed to do the film. I think Shahid and she make a great pair. They’ve never been paired before.”

A source very close to the film confirmed and said, “Heer Ranjha is not happening, at least not with Shahid and Deepika together. Right now, Sabir is writing something new.”

Shahid Kapoor reject an offer to do Priyanka Chopra's '7 Khoon Maaf': When Priyanka Chopra has seven co-stars in her forthcoming film “7 Khoon Maaf”, the question arises why isn’t Shahid Kapoor, who shares an amazing onscreen chemistry with her and is reportedly her offscreen love, one of them? Well because he refused, revealed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.

"Shahid refused to do the film. That time he was preparing for the role in his father’s film and for that he needed a particular get up, so he didn’t have time to get a new get up for this film,” Bhardwaj told reporters at an event in the Radio City office here.

“7 Khoon Maaf” is based on Ruskin Bond’s short story, “Susanna’s Seven Husbands”. The seven male leads in the thriller include Naseeruddin Shah as the oldest husband, John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Annu Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah’s youngest son Vivaan Shah as the youngest husband and Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko.

The director also revealed that Priyanka was his original choice for the role.

“Priyanka was my original choice for the role. She is the finest actor of her generation right now. Whe I worked with her in 'Kaminey’, I realised how under-utilised she is. She has so much talent in her. As a director I had so much trust on her that I felt that no one else can essay this role as brilliantly as she would do,” said Bhardwaj.

The film is slated for a Feb 18 release.

That's when they met and sorted out their misunderstandings and problems. After they went on the show as a couple, they realised that they were in fact victims of misunderstandings created by other people.

Now that they are back together, they have decided that they need to spend more time with each other. Subsequently, Priyanka, who declined all New Year eve live performances, decided that she would join Shahid in Chandigarh."

The source further said, "They will be staying at a resort but no one knows the exact location. And in a way the two owe it to the host of the chat show who unwitting brought them together by offering them an opportunity to iron out their differences."

Shahid Kapoor signed Sajid's next project: Shahid Kapoor has signed up for a Sajid Nadiadwala productions' next, tentatively titled Heer Ranjha.

The film will be directed by Sabir Khan (Kambakth Ishq).

This is the first time Shahid is working with Sajid Nadiadwala production house.

"Apparently, Shahid loved the script of the film. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalized. The film will go on floors in February next year," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Since his return from Edinburgh, Shahid had often tweeted that he is reading scripts and wants to sign three films for next year, having dedicated 2010 exclusively to his father's debut directorial Mausam

"Just one film all of this year so wanna do at least 3 the next year .." Shahid wrote in early August.

On August 27 he said he has finally come across an interesting script.

Reportedly, the mother-son duo suffered a major fallout few years back and was not on talking terms since then.

“Neelima is looking after Kaizer (the dog) everyday. It’s been nearly 15 days now,” confirmed a friend of Neelima about the new development.

Neelima’s friend also added that Shahid calls every day (twice a day), as he loves his dog very much, to know how Kaizer is doing. He even tells his mother about Kaizer’s eating and other habits so that she could take better care of him.

Reportedly, this daily mother-son interaction made them think about forgetting past and starting over afresh.
